HOW IT WORKS

The filter SF FILTER allows to remove impurities from waterwork or well water.

The filter, through the side manholes has to be filled with proper filtering materials (grit/sand) disposed with a more fine grain size moving upwards. In this way will be obtained a effective filtration, ables to remove also the very fine particles and the sludges as well.

Inside the filter (with the exception of the smaller models) there is a metallic plate to sustain the filtering materials. The plate is holed and in every hole is fixed a nozzle to allows the water passage but blocking the filtering materials. The nozzles are placed with a omogeneus distribution to allows a well distributed water passage.

The filter SF FILTER is manufactured with the central metal sheet of 1.500 mm. height. The diameter is variable and according to the different models goes from 400 mm to 1.600 mm with a flow rate from 5 to 80 mc/h.

Are also available filter with the central metal sheet of 2.000 mm height. They are suitable to realize activated carbon filter where there is an extra upper layer considting in activated carbon to remove a large kind of chemicals from water.

The filter is manufactured with the hydraulic unit made with hydropneumatic 3-ways or 2-ways valves. The hydraulic unit allows to perform the counterwashing phase and the clarification phase just before to the operating phase. As alternative it is possible to realize a cheaper filetr using manual valves.

It is also available a solenoid valve group, which correctly connected to the hydropneumatic valve of the unit, allows to activate them.

It is also available an advanced contoller – SO-FT KW CONTROL 1 – to pilot every filter phase and manage the whole filter functions.
