HOW IT WORKS

The controller SO-FT KW CONTROL 1 allows to manage industrial softeners and filters, made with hydropneumatic valves or motorized valves. The controller has 6 solenoid outlets and several inlets to read signals coming from external devices and sensors.

A pre-installed sofware allows to pilot the standard phases for softeners and filters both. The activating sequence and selection of the solenoid valve can be personalized following a specific request in order to adapt the controller to the features of the device to be piloted.

To guarantee an high electrical safety, all the outlets are with low voltage – 24 Vac. Consequently also the solenoid valves or the mothorized valves has to be foreseen with low voltage feedingf. As alternative it is possible to connect the controller with an electrical cabinet equipped with secondary relays, which in turn pilot the osmosis components.

The controller has 4 realys to manage the additional functions of softeners and filters (disinfection, brine pump, etc.) and also to signal a rgeneration/washing in progress or to turn on an external alarm.

It is available an additional boars with which it is possible to have an inlet for a second flow meter and a conductivity inlet. Using this board it is possible to have a softeners where it is possible to measure the flow rate and the conductivity of the draining water. In this way it is possible to determine the exact brine quantity aspirated in order to use only the brine strictly needed and it is possible to stop the resin washing when they have the right saline concentration in order to save water.

It is available a an additional board to have a total of 12 solenoid outlet on the whole controller. That allows to pilot a double column softener which can operating alternating the operting column. That kind of softeners guarantees a constant supply of softened water whithout interruption during the regeneration phase

The controller has an outlet to supply a chlorine cell to be used for the resin disinfection. The disinfection phase with the chlor cell supplying is already set simultaneously with the aspiration phase. The duration can be modified according to the device needs.

On the front side of the controller there is a USB port with which it is possible to download the hystorical data about the last 2.000 events/alarms to examine them deeply. Moreover it is possible with the USB, to upload a new SW version in the fast and simply way.

It is available a special “safety pen drive” in order to enable the “service menu” only if the safety pen drive is inserted in the USB port. In this way only the authorized people can modify the setting pharameters and it avoids not authorized changes.
