HOW IT WORKS

The AQUALIMIT is a safety device which allows to limit the brine flowrate during the brine refill phase.Within the device there is chamber with little ball able to move freely. During the phases of aspiration/reintegration the ball moves from one side to the other side of the chamber.

During the reintegration phase the ball, thanks to two calibrated grooves, limits the flowrate in order to send to the tank the water with a moderate flowrate.

In case of brine valve breakage, the Aqualimit makes sure the water flowrate going to the tank can be easily disposed to the overfill placed on the upper part of the brine tank. In fact, normally the overfill is not able to dispose the water coming in the tank if it comes with the standard flowrate.

The AQUALIMIT avoids the possibility of water overflows from the tank, which can cause the room flooding.

During the aspiration phase, the ball moves to the opposite side of the device where the shape of the seat, on which the ball is leaned, allows the brine passage without a flowrate limitation.

The Aqualimit can be easily placed in several model of softeners. The connection is useful to be installed on a 8 mm internal pipe. The tiny dimensions allows always to find a little space to install it.
