HOW IT WORKS

The hydrodynamic unit dosing SUPERDOS protects hot and cold water systems from limescale deposits and corrosion. It also helps to eliminate the limescale deposits and residue already present, progressively cleaning the circuits.

The hydrodynamic dosing unit may be applied to boilers and heat exchangers for the production of hot water and the relative distribution circuits; circuits of naturally aggressive cold water or tending to form deposits; technical cooling circuits with running water; water-cooled machinery.

The dosing unit works hydrodynamically, without electrical connections, taking advantage of the flow of water in the tubes. The bowl of the doser is filled with a special mixture in powder, made up of polyphosphates and orthophosphates. The water from the water supply passes proportionally inside the bowl where it brushes against the surface of the solidified powder, which is thus slowly released into the hydraulic circuit.

The mixture of polyphosphates and orthophosphates has the property of stabilizing the precipitation of the calcium and magnesium carbonates, avoiding the formation of deposits. At the same time, thanks to its filming effect, the mixture of polyphosphates and orthophosphates protects pipes and hydraulic parts from phenomena of corrosion. The mixture in the bowl is gradually consumed and has to be filled up when it is completely exhausted.

The SUPERDOS has a special inner device, the so-called hydromodulating system, which gives the bowl a water quantity, proportional to the flow rate in order to increase the water volume when the flow rate is high and to obtain always a correct dose of polyphosphate in the water.

Moreove SUPERDOS has also another inner device, the so-called stop-dosing system, which allows to avoid the polyphosphate consumption in case there is no-flow rate  and the water is stopped in the bowl. That avoids useless consumption of product and most of all the overdosing of it in the plant.

The excellent hydraulic design of the device, allows in any case to have a perfect dosage of polyphosphate and a great protection of the plant.
